 Jonny Johnston opened Cambridge Motorsports at Ocean Gateway in Cambridge in 1995. The business had 3500 square feet and two employees. However in 2000, Jonny envisioned a new trend on the horizon. As a result, the decision was made to expand, create an up-dated showroom and present a new facade that would garner the attention of the Ocean City bound travelers.
After two years of planning and completing all the necessary paperwork, the project finally began in 2002. By late 2003, a new showroom was completed, the original portion renovated, a large storage facility added in the rear, the parking area repaved, and landscaping completed. A Grand Opening welcomed guests to a completely new 13,000 square foot business.
Today, Jonny, his employees, and the mascot, "Boss Man" are proud to welcome customers from all over the United States to their exciting & beautiful showroom. Cambridge Motorsports has become a consistent sales award winner in the Eastern division.
Stop by the showroom, conveniently located on Ocean Gateway Rt. 50 east in Cambridge, and check out the exciting inventory! You'll find dirt bikes (some with training wheels for the youngsters), ATVs, scooters, motorcycles, UTV's and more. Parts and accessories, clothing, and footwear are also available for that finishing touch!
